Dr. Nima Aflatooni grew up in a dental family on Hawaii’s Big Island. His father, Dr. Bijan Aflatooni, practiced on the Island for over 16 years and was one of the few dentists attending to the needs of the local population. His father’s influence on the neighborhood influenced Dr. Nima’s decision to become a dentist, which stayed with him for a long time.

The University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry is where Dr. Erica Hsiao earned her PhD. She developed a strong interest in and passion for dental implants, periodontics, and regeneration while attending the Los Angeles School of Dentistry. She eventually moved to Chicago and enrolled at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she earned a Master’s degree and a Certificate in Periodontics & Dental Implants.

He takes excellent care of me, always taking the time to explain each procedure clearly and thoughtfully. I feel completely comfortable and confident in his care.   05/17/2025:  My gosh, this is a great dental experience.  Each time I visit, I learn something new.  Visits are thorough, gentle, and pain free.  I have to give kudos to my hygienist...it can't have been a good experience for her to work on a mouth full of dental problems.. But, she remains professional and offers very good tips on how to prevent the problems from reoccurring.  Plus, she lends an ear to problems outside of dentistry without judging.  She's a gem.
